The dispersal paths of green and hawksbill sea turtle hatchlings as they enter Chagar Hutang bay from the nesting beach were investigated in order to examine potential similarities or differences between both species. A small buoy was attached to the hatchling using string and the hatchling was followed on kayak until it was predated on or reached a certain distance from the shore. The data will be analyzed to establish the dispersal behavior of sea turtle hatchlings, the distance from shore at which turtle hatchlings face the highest risk of predation and possible correlations between dispersal and ocean surface currents
