SEATRU is committed to looking after the welfare of our staff, volunteers and researchers while at Chagar Hutang Turtle Sanctuary. Chagar Hutang is an isolated area in Pulau Redang where conditions are less than optimal; there are no communication network available, minimal electricity and wooden cabins. It is important for your expectations to be managed through trainings and briefings before going on any activities. Most of the volunteer works are heavy work that requires good physical health. There will also be free time to rest and enjoy yourselves with beautiful nature. We seek volunteers with passion, interest, motivation and professionalism to support our conservation project.
