Genetic Composition of Barnacles Collected from Nesting Green Sea Turtles

About

Sea turtles are highly migratory animals which makes it difficult to monitor their movements in the wild. Nevertheless, understanding the migratory behavior of sea turtles is important to allow for targeted conservation efforts that focus around highly utilized marine areas. By studying the genetic composition of barnacles collected from nesting green sea turtles at Chagar Hutang, SEATRU aimed to predict the geographical region occupied by these turtles during their time at sea.
